Freedom: Maki-baka wag mag-baboy!

Freedom... We have a lot of definitions of the word "FREEDOM'.

Freedom for the so-called nation builders with nothing else to do but organize anti-government demonstrations, is running the country as they please. We have the AnakBayan, Anak-Pawis, Anak-ng-Tipaklong...

I've watched the news earlier today and saw news bits about rallies and demonstrations, I begin to wonder what's the gratifying effect behind those events.

I would often see them on streets shouting and screaming what they claim as the cry of the citizens to uplift poverty and justice for all(which I know is a scam). I would often see them complaining (orocan style) about the taxes they pay (although for a fact everyone do complain about taxes). They would parade themselves with torn shirts (Guess or Giordano) and tattered jeans (Levi's) claiming they could no longer afford to clothe themselves due to poverty (or sometimes due to credit limit).

For crying out loud, if you want to change something then run for a post in the Government. If your complaining about poverty then be contented to your Nokia 3310 phone. I hate seeing these people complaining about the ever increasing price of commodities when suddenly they would sport the latest model of mobile phones (Sony Ericsson Xperia).

Students shouting for tuition fee regulation and decrease (Kickback and tuition padding galore). Hey, aren't they supposed to be in class? They want to uplift their finances but then they love to skip classes just to voice out sentiments about tuition fee. While their parents thought their kids burn out their asses reading books. And oh, I forgot these parents never complained. COOL!

Oh there's more, when these students graduate, of course they would be job hunting. They would roam around makati and ortigas just to land a job. And when they get one, they make every known excuse not to accept it. WTF! If you need to earn then accept whatever job offer you get. Don't get choosy. The hell I care what school you came from or what course you've finished, if you want to earn then work for it. I don't see the logic why we say that there's the scarcity of jobs nowadays. That's BULLSHIT!

I would give credit to their cause, its for everybody anyway. I just hate their stupid acts of voicing out their sentiments. Yes, everybody wants change and improvement. Everybody wants freedom, freedom from poverty, debts, discrimation and stuff. But I think it's important that change should come within us.

For me, Freedom simply means a week without my boss around... Sounds good, Feels even better.

2009: Year of the Shit

Today would be the our first (official) working day for 2009.

First thing to do; Check my email. Surprisingly, no new message. It's already a given that on Mondays, expect to get at least 8 emails from the Holy Mother (business owned by the Holy Family). Emails are not actually long and complicated but working on what's written would be. Happy that I am, I proceeded to my next task; Meeting.

I had called for a meeting to iron somethings out for our Horribly Renounced Department. Which was supposedly done by one of Very Powerful's of the company. First to meet are the Tenacious Liars of different campaigns to get a brief of their current standard operating procedure. I was well aware that the Office Messenger was already out of the building. But lo and behold, he came just in time for the meeting courtesy of his loving girlfriend. Since I somehow manage to master the "orocan" skill, I welcomed him to the meeting.

So we proceeded with the meeting, which turned to be ful of crap. The Very Powerful was insistent about setting new procedure which at some point was almost out of our agenda, Very Powerful indeed.

After a few chit-chats, the Holy Spirit (now you see, now you don't) came, sat down and joined the meeting. Ever as brilliant, the Very Powerful continued with her crap...

With the meeting almost over I asked the Holy Spirit about the gift for our service for our efforts to astoundingly gauge the gossip skills of the about 200 victims. I was told that it would be given tomorrow but the amount is not that much. We were even warned that we may be engrossed with such gifts. WTF... maybe it would be the other way around... As if the amount was to huge to spend.

Anyway, tomorrow would be another day full of crap leading to a day with overwhelming shit. We'll just try to enjoy the bottle of alcohol our Very Powerful for Tampering gave us.

Joining the Bandwagon

One of the hardest part of writing is writing the title itself. Today, I decided to join the bandwagon; blogging. So what do I know about blogging... Absolutely none. Which I think is good for me... for now...

I'm currently working as an Enfluential Associate (exact position not to be mentioned ever) for a somewhat Celebrity-like businesswoman.

This blog will be more on rantings and complaints about my job, the people that surrounds me, the "orocan" (ang plastic na walastik) way I mingle with other people (it's part of the job dude), and most of all the life of being the Enfluential Associate...
